Bright lights twinkled. Choirs sang inspirational carols. Excited children pulled their parents from booth to booth. Families boarded the train for a joyful ride around the arena. The air crackled with anticipation. Friends greeted each other with smiles and laughter. And Santa Clause was … well, Santa Clause, as he made his grand entrance in a red convertible! (the reindeer are resting up for their big night in a couple of weeks) If you didn’t have the Christmas spirit when you entered Calsonic Arena yesterday you certainly had it when you left. Even the frosty air outside contributed to the seasonal atmosphere.

I teamed up with Patty Howell who was also selling and signing her book, Shoes in the Bible and Walking with God. My friend, Suki, hung in there all day helping with set up and tear down and everything else in between. Another dear friend, Mary Ann, also added her expert touches to the decorations and her encouragement to all of us when we got weary. (I think she knows everyone in Shelbyville!) All in all, we had a wonderful time.

Thanks to everyone who took time to visit our booth at A Celebration Christmas yesterday. May you all “bee blessed” this Christmas season.
