This time of year we all get caught up in the Holiday Shuffle Dance. Our calendars are crammed with Hallmark movies, office parties, bright red scarves, stockings on the mantel, get-togethers with friends, homemade sugar cookies, carols on the radio, mouth-watering aromas in the kitchen and — shopping lists, last-minute Christmas cards, bumper-to-bumper traffic, burned gingerbread men, tangled strings of lights, broken ornaments, a lost wise man from last year’s nativity, crumpled wrapping paper, blown budgets and sleepless nights.
STOP. Breathe …
Take a moment to reflect on the one Christmas Light that matters. The Light of the World. His name is Jesus.
